woman was arrested for slamming her car into her estranged husband's home.

31-year-old Jennifer Luisi of Connecticut, was frustrated when her husband refused to open the door to his home, so she drove into the front of it.

Police responded to the home about 9:00 p.m., on a report of a verbal argument. While officers were en route, they received another call informing them that the situation was escalating and that a car was driven onto the front lawn of the house.

A few moments later, the car was driven into the house. Upon arrival, police found that the car had been driven through the front door of the house, and landed in the living room.

Officers interviewed the victim, the driver, and witnesses, and determined that Luisi of Southington, was the person who rammed the car into the house.

According to police, Luisi came to the home and started banging on the door, trying to talk to her estranged husband. The husband refused to talk, and called police.

That's when Luisi returned to her car, and then drove into the home.

Officials said there was an order of protection in place between Luisi and her husband. Police determined that Luisi was under the influence of alcohol when she drove into the house.

Luisi was charged with criminal violation of a protective order, reckless endangerment, criminal mischief, driving under the influence of alcohol and the violation of peace.

She appeared in the Bristol Superior Court, and is being held on $250,000 bond.
