Custom officers Captured Vehicle Carrying 1million Bullets Into Ghana (More Photos)

Ghana Custom officers in Aflao of the Volta region were able to discover over one million packs of bullets in a vehicle which was transporting goods from a neighboring country into Ghana.
According to reports, the same vehicle has made about six entries into Ghana before they were finally busted. A few weeks ago, Ghana Police exposed a group in kumasi which had heavy weapon like AK47 and machine guns hidden in their house.
Ghana is not a war-torn country and so who is importing these ammunition into the country? Is someone planning to destabilize the peace of the country? Your guess is as good as mine. Every citizen needs to be vigilant.

Transport minister resigns over bus paint fraud

But the seemingly innocuous branding exercise became a rallying point for the opposition party and anti-corruption campaigners, who used the issue to criticise the ruling party’s economic management of the country.  Attivor’s resignation is the first in many years for Ghana and comes after citizens filed a court action against the government demanding details of the bus contract.
