Ho Thi Kieu, 11 year old girl has been diagnosed with a rare, life threatening skin condition called the Lyell’s syndrome, soon after she consumed a bottle of soft drink.
Though Lyell’s syndrome is a disease caused by reactions from drugs, the family of the 11 year old believe the disease was caused by the soft drink.
According to Thanhnien News, her family said she drank the soft drink bottle after school. Two hours later, her skin got swollen like being burned. She also suffered from breathing difficulties, fever and a sore mouth.
