School employee rapes woman and rips out her hair to keep as souvenir

A school employee was arrested, charged and convicted of rape after being accused of raping a woman and ripping her hair to keep as a souvenir, prosecutors in the United Kingdom said.

Now, 45-year-old Kamran Ali was sentenced to serve 6 years in prison.

Ali of Carshalton was sentenced at the Old Bailey, after being found guilty of rape and sexual assault.

The court heard that Ali took photos of his victim on his phone without her knowledge and downloaded images from her social networking accounts.

Ali, who was working at a school in Wimbledon, also took a strand of her hair and told her he would keep it in a book. Ali was also convicted of raping another woman at his home three months after the first victim made an official complaint.

A short time after the first allegation against him was made, another woman came forward and reported to police that Ali had raped her on several occasions.

He was arrested and he denied all the allegations made against him.

Ali received six years in prison for the rape and another six months for the sexual assault. The sentences will run consecutively.
