A single mother of three raising her kids from prostitution as her only means of survival locked her children up in the house that later went up in flames as she went about her pleasure job.

An unnamed woman living in Bacher, in Akar road, Rumolumini Community, Obiakpo LGA, of Rivers State is currently wailing after a costly mistake that cost her the lives of two of her children and loss of properties.
According to reports, the single mother of three, left her three children to go and sleep with a man for an amount as cheap as N2,000.
She went with her client for the night leaving her kids, two boys and a girl, locked inside the room with a candle light on. Tragedy struck when the candle light ignited the whole room, leaving the kids with no escape route.
From 11:58pm the room burnt down affecting her neighbours and killing her first son and daughter. Only one of them survived the fire. It should be noted that her husband had died leaving her to struggle for the kids without any decent job.
The police came and arrested her as she returned the following morning, for negligence on her part.

Residents said the same woman also gave birth to a baby boy few months ago in her room and left the baby to bleed to death through his placenta.
