Lady declared missing by family found with lover in Abuja

Jessica Edionwele wanted to fleece money from her father
On Saturday, October 10, popular music producer, Michael Collins, alias Don Jazzy, posted a missing person alert, calling on members of the public with useful information as to the where abouts of Jessica Edionwele, the 24-year-old daughter of Hon. Joe Edionwele, the member representing Esan West, Esan Central and Igueben Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives.

According Don Jazzy, the lady had left Lagos on October 7, to Abuja to visit with her father but was no where to be found when the family went to pick her up at the airport even after the airline had confirmed the flight had landed in Abuja at exactly 5.15pm.
The family was thrown into confusion owing to what they thought was an abduction but as it turned out, the young lady had beaten her family and took an airport taxi to her boyfriend's place in the Lugbe area of the Federal Capital territory.
While the family ran from pillar to post looking for her, the lady reportedly gave her father’s telephone number to her boyfriend who called the Honourable member and 'threatened' that if he wanted his daughter back alive, he should pay a certain amount of money as ransom, in an apparent attempt to extort money from her father.
But as luck would have it, someone saw her in the neighbourhood and alerted the police who traced her whereabouts and arrested  her and the  'kidnapper cum lover'.
In January, a 25-year-old undergraduate of the Delta State University, Abraka, Belynda Chinwe Bosa, was arrested by the police in Port harcourt for conniving with her jobless boyfriend to kidnap her so as to extort  N10 million from her parents.
