Woman laughs as residents take photos of the charred corpse of a suspected robber in Calabar(360 Nobs)
The trend of jungle justice has again taken hold in Calabar, Cross River State as an angry crowd set a suspected robber ablaze amidst cheers and laughter.
Excited residents are seen chattering happily beside the burnt corpse of their victim while some take pictures with their mobile phones.
The deceased was said to be a member of a gang known as ‘Scolombo Boys’ who were reportedly caught stealing. His alleged gang members were able to escape while being pursued by the mob but he fell into their handsA mob in Calabar South Local Government took the law into their hands when they pursued a group of boys and after capturing one, burnt him to death in broad day light.
