Brutal Beating: This man repeatedly hits a woman with a piece of wood as she cowers in the corner

The 35 second clip reportedly shot in Brazil shows the man repeatedly hitting the woman with the chunk of wood and although there is no verbal exchange between the two, she can be heard screaming in obvious agony as he continues to rain down the blows on her body.
She is cowering in the corner of a room in what looks like a building site and, unable to get away, is reduced to covering her head to escape from the blows.
At one point in the video, it sounds like a small child can also be heard crying nearby.

Most who commented expressed their shock and although some suggested the video should never have been shared, most said that they were sharing it in order to aid the hunt in tracking down the attacker.
One wrote: "I abhor violence against women and especially putting something sick like this online, but with this man still at large and the woman may be desperately needing help, I think it should be shared as much as possible."
Another wrote: "This is unbelievable.
"The violence against women around the world is so disturbing, and has been going on for centuries.
"This man should be hung by his genitals.
"There can be no justification for this in the modern world."
