Butcher tried to behead estranged wife before jumping to his death following row over children
Butcher: Oliver Ruse attacked his wife before killing himself
A butcher tried to behead his estranged wife with an axe after saying that killing her was “the only way out”, an inquest heard today.
Oliver Ruse, 37, left mum-of-four Deborah, 39, dead on her kitchen floor before leaping to his death from a multi-storey car park.
Police found an axe smeared with his wife’s blood in his gold Land Rover before finding her body at her home in Long Melford, Suffolk.
The couple rowed over the children after the split.
