Borno Village Reportedly Under Boko Haram Attack

The village was said to be raided by suspected Boko Haram militants.
Although details of the attack are still being expected, early reports informed that terrified locals are already fleeing the village as sporadic shooting is being heard in the area.

The purported attack comes amid a series of successful operations carried out recently by the Nigerian military.
The army has rescued hundreds of Boko Haram hostages from Sambisa forest, famous hideout of the Islamist sect.
However, it was reported on Friday that the insurgents launched an attack at the College of Administrative and Business Studies in Potiskum, Yobe state.
At least one person was confirmed dead while 7 others injured in what has been reported as a suicide bombing.
