Arsene Wenger wants Petr Cech to force his way to Arsenal this summer, reports The Sun.
The Chelsea goalkeeper is set to leave west London this summer after falling behind Thibaut Courtois in the hierarchy.
Jose Mourinho suggested earlier this week that he would rather keep Cech against his will than sell him to a direct Premier League rival, but there was also a suggestion from the Special One that Roman Abramovich will have the final say.The Russian oligarch will not like the idea of selling Cech to the Gunners either, but is reportedly ready to let the 32-year-old join whoever he wants as a show of respect for what he has achieved at Stamford Bridge.
Arsenal have already given Wenger the green light to launch a £10m bid and a three-year contract worth £120,000-a-week. That meets Chelsea's valuation and matches Cech's current wages.
