Nigerian electricity tariffs are set to drop by half
Nigerian electricity tariffs are set to drop by half. This move by the Nigerian Electricity regulatory commission follows the reduction in collection losses recorded over time. Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission, Sam Amadi says the reduction should force distribution companies to recover their losses from consumers who do not pay for electricity. This also forms part of disciplinary measures that will run the Transition Electricity Market.
