As always, the fact that it's Marca issuing the report should raise some red flags. The paper has connections, especially in Spain, but they've never been shy about making up stories on days when those connections aren't producing legitimate news. This could obviously be a case of either, and frankly, we probably won't ever find out one way or the other.
That said, there have been quite a few stories linking Falcao and Chelsea lately, and we know some in the board have been fans in the past. Given the impending departure of Didier Drogba as well as Mourinho's preference for having experienced players as depth, there is certainly a hole that the Colombian could fill if the price is right. Assuming that price reflects that he has virtually no value at the moment, I could be ok with that.
