Policeman kills colleague, student over stipend
Mathew Joshua, a policeman attached to a new generation bank in Zaria killed his colleague, Aliyu Kamilua, a student, and injured four persons over stipulated stipend.
The student who was hit by a stray bullet was said to have witnessed the disagreement between the Corporal and the Sergent. According to The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), Corporal Joshua discovered that Sergent Kamilu had been short-changing him.

Man cries out after woman brutalised young nephew
A Facebook user, Darlington Chibueze, has cried out over the kind of brutality a woman meted out to her own nephew over an offence the poor boy committed.
Chibueze took to his wall to narrate how the woman maltreated the boy, inflicting severe injuries on him and has vowed to pursue the case to a logical conclusion to get justice for the young boy.

UK deportee who murdered father arrested by Lagos police
After being on the run for days for killing his father and viciously stabbing his mother, Babaola Rotimi Jnr., a drug addict who was deported from the United Kingdom has been arrested by the Lagos State Police Command.
Punch reports that the 24-year-old man fondly called Junior, had murdered his 59-year-old father, Babalola Rotimi Snr., at their home in Magodo Phase 2, Shangisha area of the state and stabbed his mother, Adijat, several times, leaving her for dead.

A 60-year-old businessman, Momodu Abu, was disgraced at an Igando Customary Court sitting in Lagos State by his wife, Saidat, over allegations of impregnating the wife’s sister on two occasions.
The 55-year-old Saidat, a trader, also told the court that her husband is an incurable flirt who chased after women, both young and old, married and single.

Kidnapped Benue female journalist regains freedom
The female journalist abducted by gunmen some few days ago in Benue State, Iyuadoo Tor-Agbidye, has been regained her freedom after four days in the kidnappers’ den.

Bullion van stuffed with smuggled rice, intercepted
The Oyo/Osun Area Command of Nigeria Customs Service has revealed that a Bullion Van concealing imported smuggled rice has been intercepted.
The Area Controller, Mr Tolulope Ogunkua, told newsmen in Ibadan on Tuesday, November 15, that the vehicle was intercepted in the Saki axis of Oyo state, Punch reports.
It was also revealed that some seizures were made, including 30 fairly used vehicles from different locations in the area.

13-yr-boy found tied up in mother's friend's house
A 13-year-old boy, Sheriff Adeleke, who was declared missing by his family, has been found tied up in the apartment of a woman who is his mother's close friend.
Punch reports that the woman identified only as Olayinka, has been arrested by the Lagos State Police Command for abducting the boy and keeping him tied up in her apartment on Babalola Aroyewun Street, Igbogbo, Ikorodu area of the state.
It was gathered that Olayinka, a trader in Oshodi market, was arrested by the Igbogbo Police Division on Saturday after the boy was rescued from her room.
According to the report, Olayinka and the victim’s mother, Omowumi, who are said to be very good friends, had both joined in the search for the missing boy and also reported the matter at the Igbogbo Police Station.
