42 persons caught in the act of homosexuality arraigned in court

These 42 men were caught in the act of homosexuality at a Lagos

A magistrate court in Lagos on Thursday, August 3, 2017, arraigned 42 suspected homosexuals who were recently arrested at a hotel located at Owode Onirin.

Among the accused were 12 minors who appeared before the Ebute-Metta Magistrate Court, while the remaining offenders had hearings at the Yaba Magistrate Court.

Man in prison for hypnotizing, sleeping with 7 housewives

A Katsina Senior Magistrate Court has remanded a 40-year-old man, Sani Idris, in prison custody after he was arraigned for allegedly hypnotizing seven married women and having sex with them.

Daily News reports that Idris, a resident of Maska village in Funtua Local Government Area of the state, was accused of using charms to hypnotize the women and having sexual intercourse with them without their consent.

Police unmask female officer who helped Evans escape

A senior female police officer who allegedly aided the escape of suspected kidnap kingpin, Chukwudumeme Onwuamadike, alias Evans, from police detention after he was arrested for armed robbery in 2006, has been arrested.

The Nation reveals that the identity of the officer who is now a Chief Superintendent of Police [CSP], identified only as Tina, was uncovered by a Special Investigation Panel (SIP) set up by  Inspector General of Police (IGP) Ibrahim Idris, to probe Evans’ 2006 arrest, transfer from Lagos State to Imo State and eventual release from detention without prosecution.

Recall that after Evans arrest on June 10, 2017, a senior police officer had told reporters that his team had arrested the suspect in 2006 following a bank robbery but was later transferred to the Imo State Police Command following the intervention of a female officer who claimed Evans was her brother.

Suspected Badoo Cult member burnt to death in Ikorodu [Graphic Photos]

It was the end of the road for a suspected member of the dreaded Badoo Cult gang after he was caught by residents of Igbo-Oluwo, Ikorodu, Lagos State, in the early hours of Friday, June 30, 2017.

According to a resident of the area who posted the gory story on the Ikorodu Ambassadors Facebook group, the suspect was stripped naked, given the beating of his life before he was set ablaze, despite pleas by elders to hand him over to the police for proper investigations.

iHarare reports that the octogenarian, Sekuru Tauzen Mujaji, from the Chipinge South in Zimbabwe, holds the record of having fathered the children from his wife and other women in a space of 43 years.
 
Mujaji of the Shangani tribe was born in 1930 and had traditional challenges that resulted in him only being able to have his first child in 1974 when he was 44.

2 Nigerian women convicted in the UK for defrauding 7 men

Grace Akintaro and Victoria Nwogu have been convicted of fraud in the UKTwo Nigerian women, Grace Akintaro, 24, and Victoria Nwogu, have been convicted after they were found guilty by the Woolwich Crown Court in the United Kingdom of being part of an online romance fraud which defrauded seven men into paying them over £100,000.

Daily Mail reports that Akintaro of Pettacre Close, SE28, pleaded guilty to seven counts of fraud by false representation while Nwogu of Piedmont Road, SE18, pleaded guilty to one count of laundering £3,490 between April 29 and May 6, 2015, and will both be sentenced at the same court on Tuesday, June 20, 2017.

12-yr-old street girl gives birth to baby at a dumpsite

The 12-year-old child motherA 12-year-old homeless street child who was abandoned by her parents on the suspicion of being a witch has reportedly given birth to a baby girl at a dumpsite in Akwa Ibom State.

According to a children charity organization run by a Danish  woman, Anja Ringgren Loven, Child's Right and Rehabilitation Network (CRARN), the girl had been living at a dumpsite in the state after her parents sent her out of the house following a revelation by a Pastor that she was a witch and responsible for their poverty.

Outrage in Ghana following lynching of senior military officer (Video)

(Pulse Ghana)There has been widespread outrage in Ghana following the mistaken lynching of a top military officer by some residents of Denkyira Obuasi located in the country’s Central region.

MyJoy Online reports that the victim, Captain Maxwell Mahama, was lynched in the early morning of Monday, May 29, 2017, when he went jogging in the town a few days after he was posted there.
Captain Mahama, it was reported, unfamiliar with the city, reportedly stopped a woman to ask for directions but the woman raised an alarm and residents of the town mistook him for an armed robber and subsequently stoned and burnt him to death.

A man identified as Ibrahim Abdulmalik, has been lynched by an angry mob at the Idodere community, Ogaminana in the Adavi Local Government Area of Kogi State, for allegedly stabbing a woman, Avoshi Seberu, to death for mistakenly pouring water on him.

Punch reports that the tragic incident occurred after Seberu poured water she used in washing kola nuts on Abdulmalik by mistake on Wednesday, May 24, 2017, and immediately apologized to him as she did not do it on purpose.

Father, son killed by generator fumes in Lagos

Tragedy struck again in Lagos State when a man and his son lost their lives after inhaling dangerous fumes emitted by their generating set while they slept in their apartment in the Iwaya, Yaba area of the state.The apartment where the deceased died

Guardian reports that the victims, Ayodele Megbuwawon and his son, Tobi, had switched on their generator at the lobby of their bungalow apartment, shut the doors and windows before going to sleep on the night of Monday, May 22, 2017.
According to an eyewitness, the duo was discovered the following morning by neighbours and while the son had died in the night, Megbuwawon passed on at the Lagos University Teaching Hospital (LUTH), Idi-Araba.

Missing sons of Kenyan politician found dead

Three missing sons of Kenyan politician, James Ratemo, have reportedly been found dead.

Ratemo who is vying for the Kapsoya ward representative seat in Eldoret is reportedly devastated by the loss of his sons identified as Clifford Nyambane, Dan Nyamweya, and Glen Ongagi.
Star Kenya reports that the boys went missing on May 13, after they went to a church with one of their cousins and never returned.
The boys aged seven, three and five years old, respectively were found dead and their bodies dumped in River Nzoia at Sikubale in Navakholo, Kakamega County on Thursday, May 19

A 21-year-old human vampire has been arrested by the police in South Africa after he slit the throat of a five-year-old boy and drank the blood of the victim, Daily mail reports.

It was gathered that the vampire killer abducted the little victim identified as Tinyiko Reckson while he was playing with his friends in front of his house in Soweto and slashed his throat in what has been termed as a sacrificial killing.

The wedding of a Nigerian woman to a seven-year-old boy who stood in for his older brother based in the United Arab Emirate has threatened to tear the Internet.

 
According to a Facebook user, Qasim Aliy Balogun who posted the photos of the traditional marriage on his page, the woman identified as Amoke Alarape decided to be joined in marriage with the little boy as she could no longer wait for her groom to come back for the wedding.
