Policeman Shoot Man Dead On His Way To Put His Father In The Mortuary (photos)

A policeman allegedly shot dead a young man who was on his way to make preparations to deposit his father in the mortuary earlier today. The man who hails from Abala in Obinggwa LGA, Abia State was on his motorcycle, heading to the bank to withdraw money in order to make deposit at the hospital when a police officer tried to stop him.

She couldn’t wait for the plane to land before making a report to the police for the man to be arrested. Even though the man was pushing her aside, she still persist in getting her phone back.

Pentagon begins wave of Gitmo transfers, sends 2 detainees to Ghana

The Pentagon on Wednesday announced that two Guantanamo Bay inmates with Al Qaeda ties are being sent to Ghana, the first in a wave of 17 detainees expected to be transferred from the prison camp.
Mahmud Umar Muhammad Bin Atef and Khalid Muhammad Salih Al-Dhuby will be transferred from Guantanamo to the custody of the government of Ghana.
Bin Atef is an admitted member of the Taliban and fought for Usama bin Laden, while Al-Dhuby trained with Al Qaeda in Afghanistan.

Fegor Ogude's Wife Kidnapped In Warri

Maimunat Ogude, the wife of Super Eagles player Fegor Ogude, has been abducted by gunmen in Warri, Delta State. According to the Amkar Perm of Russia midfielder, the gunmen kidnapped his wife on Monday night.

"I wasn't home yesterday. My wife went out with my kids. Barely two hours that I left the house, my younger brother Ogaga called me to say that some armed men came to the house to take my wife away," said the midfielder, who has 16 International caps.

2 brothers burnt to death for stealing motorcycle in Cameroon (Grapcic Photos)

Two blood brothers who tried to steal a motorcycle in Cameroon were treated to a severe jungle justice which saw them both losing their lives, reports News7ng.

The sad incident which saw the brothers burnt alive reportedly happened on Sunday, January 3, 2016.

After the young men were caught, the angry mob descended on them, beating them with sticks, rods and other dangerous weapons, before finally burning them to death with fuel, tyres and the suspected stolen motorcycle. 

It is gathered that even a patrol team of police officers could not stop the mob from lynching the suspected motocycle thieves.

“We have taken the difficult decision to rescind the contract of Rafael Benitez as coach,” said Madrid president Florentino Perez.

Residents of East Tanokrom, Takoradi Metropolis, Ghana, were Friday, thrown into shock as a house wife, one Effia Mensah, stabbed a 15-year-old teenager identified only as Lu’lu over allegations that she was having an affair with her husband, Komnan Mensah.

DAILY POST reports that Effia, a mother of two had trailed the victim to her apartment which she claimed was rented for her by her husband on the other side of town.

Meanwhile, her husband who was not present at home to celebrate the cross-over night with his family, was with the victim.
